This April, Agora Gallery welcomes three exhibitions that explore the current state of the world by investigating the different voices coming from every corner of the globe and hearing what they have to say. In East Meets West, we take a look at the work that is coming from Asian nations. In Forms and Formalities, we see the visions, observations, and inner dreams of artists from all walks of life. Agora Gallery also presents the solo exhibition of Nigerian artist Nonye Ikegwuoha, a world-traveled architect who has recently turned his vision towards the “dark, harrowing experiences of migrants.” His portraits uncover the death, disease, and displacement that these people have faced, using cubist techniques, earthen colors, and fascinating lines and forms.

Seventeen artists collaborate in the exhibition From Here to There to bring a New York audience on a magnificent journey of self-discovery, expression, and realization. Buzzing in energy, color, form, and texture, the works on display hint at real worlds while obscuring just enough to direct the viewer’s experience and effectively control the conversation. Abstractions flourish across canvas, while figures bend and transform before the viewers’ eyes. Varying on the scale of fiction and reality, the artworks featured tell a unique story of humanity, nature, and society in inventive ways. Most of all, however, they tell a story of movement and change: making this an exhibition that truly takes you from one state of mind to somewhere completely new and exciting.

Recently I was approached by VIDA inviting me to collaborate with them as a designer to convert my artworks into products like scarves, tops and dresses.
The company is a Google Ventures backed fashion e commerce platform that produces original apparel in a socially conscious way.
For every VIDA product made, the company offers literacy & numeracy programs to their workers in Karachi, Pakistan.
They really impressed me & I am now a VIDA designer adapting my paintings to my signature range of silk & modal fabric scarves.

With gusto and energy, Agora Gallery’s exhibition Fragmented Reality boasts over one hundred artworks by twenty artists. Angela Di Bello and her team have curated a remarkable exhibition which stages an interrogation of the dynamic balance of feminine and masculine energies while eschewing both romanticism and politics. Instead it solicits contemplation of three focused concepts: the interpretation of humans and animals within a shared environment; portraiture and abstract landscapes; and opposing forces, such as happiness and sadness, pleasure and pain. Presiding over the stunning visual space, the participating artists have conjured an airy grace from an immense application of bright colors and mixed media which all come together effortlessly in this comprehensive exhibition of fine art.

La mostra “Signum Crucis” nasce grazie alla prima opera intitolata “Omaggio a Karol Wojtyla”, che realizzai nel 2009 come tributo alla grande figura di Papa Giovanni Paolo II, alla quale sono particolarmente legato.
Proprio quel dipinto, che raffigura una Croce, fu donato nel 2012 al Pontefice Benedetto XVI da parte dell'A.N.F.E. (Associazione Nazionale Famiglie Emigrati), durante l'incontro tra il Santo Padre ed una delegazione dell'Associazione, che nel 2012 celebrava il 65° anniversario della nascita.
Negli anni successivi alla donazione del dipinto a Sua Santità, mi ero più volte ripromesso di realizzare altre dodici tele, per dar vita ad una esposizione, che avesse come soggetto la Croce. In the exhibition Plurality of Expression, eight artists draw from realism, surrealism, and complete abstraction to present exciting worlds of color, emotion, and passion.
